DUTIES JOB KNOWLEDGE AND ROLE
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Business Office Manager perform business office functions in accordance with facility policy and procedures.
1.
Daily review of new resident information set up compared to Admission Fact Sheet and copies of various payor cards (Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, etc.
).
2.
Verify daily census reconciles with Nurses Midnight Census Head count.
3.
Review accuracy and completeness of Insurance Verification form and resolve any outstanding or unanswered questions.
4.
Fax copy of Admission Fact Sheet and Insurance Verification sheet to Support Office.
5.
Process state required admission / discharge paperwork per state requirements and company policy.
Advise Business Office Manager of any delays / problems.
6.
Enter into Accounts Receivable or Resident Trust Fund software system (AHT).
Provide Cash Receipt or Transaction List to Business Office Manager for verification of input.
7.
Preparation of daily deposits tickets.
8.
Compare Cash Receipt or Transaction List for AHT to prepared deposit ticket.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY OF
Qualifications:
1.
High School Diploma or equivalent required and related field experience to position preferred.
2.
Basic accounting procedures and computerized office system operation.
3.
Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to perform the tasks required.
4.
As required able to work overtime evenings and/or weekends to meet departmental deadlines.
5.
Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
